Postgraduate Student Association

Welcome to the P.S.A.

Postgraduate Students' Association of the University of Limerick.

Being a postgraduate student in UL can be a daunting experience for many of you and the PSA is here to try and make that transition from undergraduate to postgraduate studies that little bit easier.

As a postgraduate student in the University of Limerick you are automatically a member of the PSA. There are a number of ways to keep in touch with us, such as

  • Visiting the website regularly

  • Follow us on twitter

  • Make friends with us on Facebook

  • Call into the Common Room or office which is located just off the Stables Courtyard

You can find out all the details of events and news that are relevant to UL postgrads here on www.postgrads.ie

The PSA represents your views on multiple forums from the Student  Experience Committee to Governing Authority.

The PSA holds a number of events throughout the year. We organise coffee mornings, class parties, and trips away among other events

If you need help the PSA can point you in the right direction. From academic advice to free legal aid, the PSA provides a variety of services

The PSA also provides a Common Room off the Stables courtyard. Here you can help yourself to FREE tea or coffee and newspapers. There's also a microwave and toaster so feel free to bring your lunch in with you.

The Common Room also hosts a number of coffee mornings  and information sessions. Check the events listings to keep up to date.

If you have any questions or ideas for the PSA  send me an email on psapresident@ul.ie or call into my office, located off the PSA Common Room. My door is always open and I’d be delighted to help you out and point you in the right direction. Keep an eye out for the posters with the PSA logo for the details about up and coming postgraduate events throughout the year.

I hope you have a fantastic time in UL and I’ll see you around campus,

Dan Comerford

PSA President
