Advice
The PSA President can advise you on Education and Welfare matters relating to the postgraduate experience. The President can also put you in contact with the relevant support services in UL or the wider community. You can drop in anytime, or check the office times in advance here. Alternatively email psapresident@ul.ie for an appointment or in emergency situations call 0860435305 - 24/7/365. Some of the services available to postgrads in UL are linked below.

Free Legal Aid
The PSA and ULSU provide free legal aid to UL students. If you have a problem call into the PSA President to discuss it.

Common Room
The PSA provides a common room in the PSA Centre where postgrads can help themselves to FREE tea or coffee, use wireless internet and read the paper. The PSA is currently in reciept of the Irish Times, Independant and the Irish Sun each day, while we also get the Limerick Leader, GCN and Village magazine.
Financial Aid
The PSA provides a limited amount of financial aid to postgrads in the form of the Childcare Bursary which is intended to help students who are single parents and are struggling with the costs of childcare. The fund is opened at the start of every semester and is closed for this semester. If you are interested in applying for next semester contact the president.
The PSA also provides a limited amount of HARDSHIP Loans. These loans are interest free and are expected to be paid back in full before graduation. The loans are not to be used for fees of any kind and are limited to those most in need as demand far outweighs demand. The fund is open throughout the academic year.

Events
The PSA provides a social outlet to you the postgrad commuinty. Our events range from coffee mornings and kids parties (for the children of students) to formal balls and club nights. For more information go to the events section or contact our events officer.
