Peace One Day

 

I am delighted to invite you all to mark Peace One Day here at UL.

 

To mark this global movement at a local level we are arranging for the lights to be turned off on the Living Bridge and the pathway to be lit up by members of the greater UL community holding candles.

 

“The lighting up of the bridge is being used as a symbol to encourage everyone to build bridges and strive for conflict resolution. This is needed in many walks of life, not just globally but nationally locally and even in our own homes.”

 

We would love if you would join us at 8:15pm at the Millstream Common room where we have tea and coffee available.

 

Candles will be provided at the event.
