Community Inclusion Officer

Howdy Everyone,

I’m a graduate student in the Physical Education and Sport Sciences within the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences. I commenced my research in September 2009, after graduating from Baghdad University with a M.Sc in motor learning in the game of tennis ground. I worked as a Physical Education teacher in the University of Baghdad for 2 years, before joining the PESS department here in UL. I love sport, I’m an active swimmer and tennis player as well.

In my role as Community inclusion officer, I have a number of responsibilities, determining issues affecting postgraduate students, such as International Students, Students with Disabilities, Student Parents, Mature Students and other similar groups. My main aim this year is to make the campus more inclusive for everyone. I’ll hopefully be able to do this by finding out issues that these groups experience and to act as a voice for their concerns within the PSA and try to resolve them.

So feel free to contact me and I’ll be happy to hear from you.

All the best,

Ebbas Ali.
