Events Officer

 

Hey everyone!

My name is Sarah Jane and I’m the Events Officer for PSA 2010/11!! I did my degree in Public Administration and am currently doing my MA in European Integration. I’ve been here 5 years now and I absolutely love the place and the craic that comes with it. I am so excited to have the opportunity to put forward some of my ideas for events and gatherings that I think people will really enjoy. My main aim for this year is to organize events that I think will be attractive to a postgrad, in that they suit our extremely heavy work schedule but are also accessible and can be something we can work towards. I have loads of ideas and I hope to make the most of the universities many resources in order to create events that aren’t too taxing on the monies! I think a relaxed setup where people can get to know each other is what it’s all about. But overall, I think I have a fair idea what postgrad students want when it comes to social or any other events, and I hope I can prove this to ye all over the course of the year!
